On the occasion of the Thessaloniki PhotoBiennale 2018 exhibition “You refuse to understand / you don’t say anything / watching me die”, Richard Moss will give a speech on his work focusing on heat maps and their uses.

Reading heat as both metaphor and index, Richard Mosse will present his views on the current conditions of the refugees by referring to issues such vulnerability, temporality, mortality, biopolitics, the erosion of human rights, and the failure of the European Union asylum policy.
