MOMus welcomes you to Thessaloniki PhotoBiennale 2021

The Thessaloniki PhotoBiennale returns in 2021 presenting to the public 19 exhibitions of Greek and international photography, individual and group, of various themes and photographic approaches, with the participation of 94 artists from 18 countries.

In this year's event, the main exhibition and original production entitled The Real and the Record is curated by Yorgos Prinos and Katerina Stathopoulou. Structured in two large sections hosted at the MOMus-Thessaloniki Museum of Photography and the MOMus- Experimental Center for the Arts, the exhibition explores the meaning of the real. The Real and the Record επιμελούνται ο Γιώργος Πρίνος και η Κατερίνα Σταθοπούλου. Διαρθρωμένη σε δύο μεγάλες ενότητες που φιλοξενούνται στους χώρους του MOMus-Μουσείου Φωτογραφίας Θεσσαλονίκης και του MOMus-Πειραματικού Κέντρου Τεχνών, η έκθεση διερευνά την έννοια του πραγματικού.

Entry to all Thessaloniki Photobiennale venues is allowed only after presenting either a certificate of vaccination or recovery from SARS-Cov-2 or the EU Digital COVID Certificate. Visitors must bring with them either their Police Identity Card or their passport, as their identity will be checked against the certificate. The use of masks is mandatory for everyone for the duration of their stay in the venues.
